The redfish bite in Crystal River is really heating up as the air temps are warming in the afternoons. This is the time of year that redfish begin to school up on the flats and around oyster bars and they are really eating well as they prepare to spawn.

Redfish from 18″ to 25″ have been caught recently and catches of 15-30 redfish a day are not uncommon. The trout bite is good and should get even better as the winter progresses. Bigger and bigger fish will show up as the water temps continue to warm. Sheephead are showing up in decent numbers and the bite is great and the fish are in the 5 to 10 lbs rang.

If you’re looking for a drag screaming good time. Give us a call! This is the time of year we have some of the best fishing and best weather of the year! Don’t miss out!
